Yesterday, the Department of Justice tried to indict and arrest sitting members of Congress on free speech grounds. They spoke out against Trump, and for that, he wants them arrested.

They failed because a Grand Jury composed of ordinary American citizens rejected their case.

If we saw this happening in another country we’d call it horrifying, an abuse of power, an erosion of democratic values, an affront to the rule of law. Today, the GOP won’t even yawn about it.

The people Trump targeted with that indictment are VoteVets members. Maggie Goodlander, Chris Deluzio, Chrissy Houlahan, Jason Crow, Elissa Slotkin, and Mark Kelly.
