Last week, Trump doubled down on his election fraud rhetoric after he
suggested nationalizing elections and giving Republicans control of voting
systems to fight corruption. Without naming states specifically, he suggested
there were up to 15 states that he would target.

These statements come hot on the heels of the Fulton County ballot seizures by
the administration under the pretense of investigating voter fraud.

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, quickly tried to walk back
this rhetoric, claiming that President Trump was merely referring to the Save
Act. But Trump never mentioned the Save Act. He claimed that due to rampant,
unsubstantiated “corruption,” the federal government and Republicans should
take over elections from state and local officials.

It’s become clear that Trump will not stop undermining our electoral system to
satisfy his perversion of justice. We have to continue fighting back for our
democracy and our right to vote.

afraid to stand up to this administration and fight for our rights. These
