All members of Parliament give themselves a pay raise every year on April 1. The base salary for an MP will be about $218,000 after this year’s raise. But Dawson wrote to the government to reject the April 1 pay raise.
Conservative MPs are holding their caucus meeting TODAY so it’s the perfect time for you to speak up.

Politicians may tell you that they’re forced to take a pay raise because they need to pass legislation to stop it.
