Patriot,

Zero American lives lost in Venezuela is not an accident.

It’s the result of discipline, planning, and leaders who refuse to cut corners before a mission ever begins.

Clear objectives. Defined chains of command. Accountability before boots move or orders are given.

That’s the standard I believe in. And it’s the standard I demand.

After more than a decade in uniform, I know professionalism like this doesn’t happen by chance. It requires leaders willing to make hard decisions early, even when they’re uncomfortable or unpopular in Washington.

That’s also why this standard makes bureaucrats nervous.

STAND FOR REAL STANDARDS

Zero lives lost leaves no room for sloppy planning, political checklists, or excuses. It demands seriousness and accountability at every level.

As Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, that’s the approach I’ve been fighting to restore. Not slogans. Not spin. Standards.

If you believe our service members deserve leaders who treat their lives as non-negotiable, I’m asking you to stand with me.

Professionalism saves lives. And that standard is worth defending.

For America,

Brian Mast
