When we launched Win the Era, my goal was to continue addressing the issues I heard about from Americans every day on the trail, and do our part to meet this moment in keeping with the same values that motivated my campaign. This organization grew from our belief that all of us can play a role in launching the era of politics that must come next.

Today, I am proud to announce that Win the Era is endorsing candidates running for statewide or federal office in Indiana. They are gubernatorial candidate Dr. Woody Myers and lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Linda Lawson, Attorney General candidate Jonathan Weinzapfel, and congressional candidates Christina Hale (IN-05) and Pat Hackett (IN-02).

I’m proud to be supporting fellow Hoosiers who are effective leaders in their communities and have dedicated themselves to public service. I know that when they are elected, each of these leaders will advocate for working families, advance the cause of justice, and make Indiana a more inclusive and prosperous state.

As difficult as this year has been and with all the challenges ahead, 2020 is our chance to change the trajectory of our nation and this century -- but it will only be possible if we do our part. Recovering from a pandemic and recession will require us to contribute to a movement bigger than ourselves. By working to elect these candidates -- and others like them -- we are shaping the future of our country for the better.
