Today, the heads of ICE and CBP came before the Homeland Security Committee.
I’d seen firsthand the devastation they were causing in Minnesota, but as I prepared for this hearing, what I learned made my heart drop. ICE has detained THOUSANDS of children. Children who are suffering.
As a dad, I wanted to know how they could possibly justify detaining children, especially when the research clearly shows the negative impacts. I read them letters from a seven-year-old saying she just wanted to go back to school; from a nine-year-old saying the water was making them sick; and a drawing from a boy my son’s age that nearly brought me to tears.
They sat stone-faced, unable to justify what they’ve done: turning children into pawns in Stephen Miller’s sick and twisted great replacement agenda.
While our families live in fear, Kristi Noem is busy lining the pockets of her political associates. She even funneled over $200 million of your hard-earned tax dollars into a self-promotional ad campaign to serve her own ambitions.
If you’re like me and you can’t believe what our country is doing, I need you to join me in calling for Kristi Noem’s impeachment.
I’m not going to let up on ICE or anyone at DHS who threatens our rights.
