Last year, I laid out a vision called Forward: Victory 2026 to help Iowa Democrats win up and down the ballot this cycle.

I’m going to explain more in a moment, but if you’re in a crunch, will you chip in $25 to help us pull off major victories this year?

Forward: Victory 2026 is split into two phases. Phase one was organizing to build Democratic momentum in the off-year. We did that.

We overperformed in all six of our special elections. We hosted events to connect with Iowans. We fundraised to support Democratic candidates and local county parties across the state.

Now that we’re in the election year, phase two has officially commenced.

This is where we ramp up our operations. We have four months until primary elections when we’ll know who our Democratic nominees are for all of our top races. Then, we’ll have five months after that to connect with Iowans and make sure our nominees defeat their Republican opponents.

Our main goal over these next few months is communication. We need Iowans to know the truth about what Republicans are doing, and why Democrats should earn their votes.

The media wants folks to believe that Iowa is a red state, but that’s not true. A lot of Iowans are displeased with the backwards direction we’ve gone in, and they’re fired up for change. We just can’t count a single person out when we know these races will be ultra-competitive.
