Since we launched in spring 2025, we’ve been sounding the alarm about Trump’s plan to rig our elections.

The Constitution is clear. States run elections. That is why MAGA is trying to seize control of state Supreme Courts in key swing states, where these courts have the final say on how elections are administered.

That is why we built Defend Our Courts. And last year in Pennsylvania, we proved it works by helping Democrats hold the Supreme Court and stopping a Trump takeover in the most important swing state in the country.

Now, Trump is turning up the election rigging dial to 11.

First, he sent the FBI into Fulton County, Georgia’s election offices and seized 2020 ballots—desperately trying to resurrect his rigged-election conspiracy.

Then, he demanded Republicans nationalize elections, handing control of voting to the federal government.

Next, his top advisor and loyal attack dog, Steve Bannon, openly called for Trump to deploy ICE to surround polling places.

And now he’s called an unprecedented and shadowy meeting with state election officials to intimidate them:

The fight for democracy is at a breaking point. What we do in the next 10 months could decide whether it survives at all.

That is why Defend Our Courts is expanding nationwide this year. With state Supreme Court races in the swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Georgia, the mission has never been more urgent.

We cannot allow Trump even a single opening to seize control of these courts. If he does, free and fair elections are finished.

With more than 100,000 grassroots donors across the country, we are one of the largest forces standing between MAGA and a hostile takeover of our courts. But this fight will be expensive. MAGA is expected to pour massive money into these races, possibly more than into key Senate and House contests.

The goal is simple, and the stakes are existential: defend the courts and save democracy.
