On Tuesday, Attorney General Bill Barr testified in front of the House Judiciary Committee and Mary Gay had quite a few questions for him (I was so proud of her). 

 

You see, Barr and Trump have been peddling misinformation about mail-in ballots, even while they have voted by mail, in an effort to undermine faith in our elections. Mary Gay held Barr accountable for these tactics and when she asked him if he had any evidence to support these claims he said -- while under oath -- that he did not.

 

These are the same voter suppression tactics that Mary Gay’s opponent, who has been handpicked by Trump, will benefit from. 

 

That’s why I am reaching out. 

 

We need to protect our elections and empower every eligible voter with the information they need to request their mail-in ballots to vote safely, and securely, from home. But, we need your help.
