Our country’s current cost-of-living crisis is simply unsustainable. 

Across our district, I’ve heard from countless Hoosiers who opened their heating bills this winter and were shocked to see how much they had skyrocketed.

I have also heard from Indiana farmers who are frustrated over rising costs, and the impact of Donald Trump’s tariffs.

And nearly all of us have seen it at the grocery store or the pharmacy, as the prices of food, medications, and everyday necessities continue to climb. Life has gotten more expensive under Trump all across the nation, and here in Northwest Indiana, we're no exception.

My job is to make sure each and every day that I make life affordable and a little bit easier for individuals, and to ensure that they have access to healthcare, food on the table, and a roof over their heads.

Whether it’s parents who are working hard to put food on the table, seniors anxious about the price of their medications, or everyday folks who are worried about being able to afford quality health care, that’s what this work is about, plain and simple.
