A brand new report from MapLight confirms that the ability of states to pull off the upcoming elections, and guarantee voters’ right to cast their ballots safely, is in serious peril across the country.
That’s why we’re working so hard to secure billions in funding from Congress to protect our elections, educate voters on how to cast their ballots safely – including with mail-in voting – and ensure the survival of the U.S. Postal Service.
But we’re on the verge of ending this month with a significant budget gap unless we raise another $69,079 in the next 24 hours from our online members like you, and the clock is ticking.

It seems like Republicans are doing everything they can to stand between the American voter and a fair, safe election. And it’s not hard to see why… They understand that their chances of winning go down the more voters are able to cast ballots.
And while we do everything we can to protect the vote, we’re also fighting around the clock to hold Trump and Republicans accountable for failing the American people at every turn, betraying our values, and their attacks on our democracy and the American Way.
This is the most important election of our lives ... and easily one of the most important in our nation’s history.
With fewer than 100 days to go, our success will depend on having the resources to:
Hire more organizing staff;
Reach hundreds of thousands of key voters in battleground states by phone and text message; and
Reach millions more voters with paid and earned media (including our biggest ever ad campaigns to turn out Latino voters).
