Rep. Ilhan Omar’s primary is in just under two weeks, and she’s facing a primary challenger who is being bankrolled by a Republican Super PAC. He’s filling the airwaves in Minnesota’s 5th district with attack ads against Ilhan.
We have to help Ilhan fight back — we need her voice in Congress to continue legislating and advocating for bold policies like a housing guarantee, strong protections for immigrants, and Medicare for All.
Ilhan’s team has set a goal of raising $15,000 before tomorrow at midnight to fight back against the Republican fundraising machine that’s attacking her.
Republicans and the occupant of the White House are threatened by Ilhan. She is a transformative leader who is challenging the status quo and working hard every day to serve her constituents. From speaking out against the racist, discriminatory ‘Muslim Ban’ to introducing legislation to guarantee free school lunch, Ilhan is always putting people first.
Ilhan gives a voice to so many people who have been oppressed and ignored by those in power. I am proud to call her my sister-in-service and to work alongside her. She is a vital voice in the movement for justice and equity.
