After saying he’s a “NO” on the DHS funding bill, John Hickenlooper cowardly backtracked by voting with 27 other Democrats to extend DHS funding.
After watching ICE terrorize our communities and violate our civil rights, he decided they deserved more support.
As thousands of Americans protested ICE’s inhumane and unlawful tactics, he consciously chose not to listen.
I know we deserve better and it’s exactly why I’m running for his U.S. Senate seat.
John, I’ve dedicated my life to fighting and defending the most vulnerable Americans as a Chicana organizer-turned-Senadora.
I created The Colorado Office Of New Americans and passed legislation to protect Colorado residents from federal government overreach, and to stop ICE from raiding state databases for immigration enforcement.
