Dear John,

I hope all is well with you and that you’ll be able to join us at one of our forthcoming events. The next is on Monday – our regular monthly online catch-up and planning for the future, especially the Local Elections in 2022. And a walk is planned for Sunday, August 16th. Details of both below.

As well as standing candidates in our three boroughs (Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster) we might, for the first time, stand in the City of London Corporation election. London’s Field Organiser, Emma Leigh, has been emailing details of various training sessions. And our Election Agent, Colin Murphy, is organising a sub-committee to plan WCL’s election campaign – please let me know if you’d like to participate in that group and support the great candidates standing in our target wards.

Our AGM is due to be held in September. All officer posts are up for re-election: Campaign Officer, Chair, Coordinator, Election Agent, Electoral Returning Officer, Events Coordinator, Membership Officer, Press Officer, Secretary, Treasurer, Youth/Students and Website Manager. It would be good to know if you would like to stand for any of these positions. I plan to stand down as Chair/Coordinator, and know of one excellent candidate for Chair.

So, to our events:
