John,

Donald Trump has ordered the National Park Service to remove or edit signs and other informational materials that mention climate change.

This is climate denialism at its worst. Trump does not want visitors to know that our national parks are facing historic headwinds due to our changing climate.

The truth is: Our national parks are bellwethers of climate change. Climate-related issues that arise in our parks can indicate we have a much more widespread problem.

Our SEEC members are fighting back to ensure science is not erased and information is not being hidden from the public. Will you donate now to help us keep up the fight? [[link removed]]

DONATE $5 » [[link removed]]For nearly a decade, SEEC Co-Chair Rep. Mike Quigley has led delegations of SEEC Members to visit national parks throughout the U.S. to hear directly from the National Park Service about the impacts of climate change and how they are responding.

SEEC Members have seen first-hand how coastlines are eroding in the Everglades and Acadia National Parks, how severe droughts are causing entire biomes to shift in Yellowstone National Park, and how wildfires are burning more intensely than ever in Yosemite, Rocky Mountain, and Shenandoah National Parks.

As Rep. Mike Quigley said, “ We’re in a race for time, and if you go to these places and talk to the people who are on the ground trying to solve this problem, it’s clear we’re falling behind. The way I see it, it’s a straightforward proposition — either Congress acts, or our parks disappear.”

Please donate now to help our SEEC Members continue fighting to protect our national parks from the worst impacts of climate change and stop Trump from hiding the truth! [[link removed]]
