Number of the Day: 28% of voters want congressional stimulus package to restructure economy

July 30, 2020: As Congress considers new stimulus and relief measures to address the economy, 28% of voters think they should launch large new projects to restructure the economy. A JusttheNews.com national survey found that 45% disagree and want Congress to focus their efforts only on helping those directly impacted by the shutdown and medical research.[1]

These attitudes are broadly shared among all measured demographic groups, a rarity in today’s political world.[1]
