Health care is a human right. We should be expanding its access by passing Medicare for All, not ripping it away by overturning our current system and replacing it with nothing.

Trump and his Republicans have stopped at nothing to sabotage our health care system and throw anyone who has ever had the nerve to get sick under the bus.

How someone could be so cruel... I have no idea.

When Senate Republicans recklessly tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act back in 2017, it failed by one vote. One. That’s how close Republicans came to dismantling our entire health care system and kicking millions of folks off their insurance plans.

And just this month, far-right Senator Lindsey Graham promised that if the GOP takes back the House in 2020, the first thing they’ll do is repeal the entire Affordable Care Act. That’s why we need your help:

Look, we know the ACA isn’t perfect. Our health care system is still too expensive and frustrating for so many families. That’s why DFA proudly supports candidates who are fighting for Medicare for All.

But the truth is the Affordable Care Act saves lives. It’s a lifeline for people with pre-existing conditions (and hey if you’re pregnant, have a peanut allergy or acne, that’s you). We cannot go back to the day when insurance companies wrote the rules about who to cover.

If Republicans get away with their plans to sabotage our health care, you can bet it will be a death sentence for families across the country. It’s truly terrifying. But I’m confident we can end the GOP’s reign of terror with your help.

The Affordable Care Act has been narrowly upheld twice by the Supreme Court, and with a right-wing bench and judges appointed by Trump himself, it’s never been more important that we kick Republicans out of office and elect bold progressives all across the country to defend the ACA and pass Medicare for All.
