John,
We’re now a year into the Trump administration, and I know many of you are feeling the pressure in very real ways.
Grocery bills are higher. Electricity costs keep climbing. Housing feels further out of reach for too many families. And instead of focusing on lowering costs or supporting working people, Trump and his allies have doubled down on chaos and unchecked executive power.
While families are tightening their belts, this administration is dismantling guardrails that protect our democracy and using executive authority to sidestep accountability. At the same time, House Republicans have failed to advance any meaningful legislation to lower costs.
That’s not acceptable. And it’s not what West Michigan deserves.
The only real check on Trump’s unchecked power is a Democratic House majority. That’s why November matters so much.
Flipping the House is how we restore balance, protect our democracy, and refocus Congress on delivering results for people, not powerful interests.
If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider chipping in today to help us meet this moment and flip the House blue:
