One of the things I learned at West Point is that you can’t run a winning campaign without the right equipment: you need people, planes, tanks, fuel, and ammunition.
Now that I’m running for Congress, I’m experiencing firsthand how expensive political campaigns are. Particularly in a district like this one, which covers most of the eastern third of Kansas, there's a lot of miles to cover.
But what keeps me going every day is seeing Kansans rally around this campaign who are tired of a Congress unwilling to do the right thing. They know it’s time for change and that politicians like Derek Schmidt aren’t standing up for us.
