Constituent Reminder

The Office of Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez provides confidential casework assistance to our constituents with pending applications or cases before federal agencies. Many of our neighbors may have questions about their pending immigration cases, such as work permit applications, green card renewals, and naturalization. Constituents can place a casework request with the office online.

If you have an upcoming check-in or court hearing, you have the opportunity to fill out a DHS privacy release form, which would allow our office to request and receive information from ICE, like medical records and transfer information. You can give it to your lawyer or a trusted neighbor after you fill it out.

Filling out this form now does not mean we share this with ICE. We only send it in case you are detained and a loved one asks us to reach out and get information about your location or well-being.
