As we enter another month where Americans are still struggling to afford groceries or health care, Donald Trump wants to spend a “yet to be determined” amount of money building a 250-foot arch in the middle of Washington D.C.

I wish I were lying.

This doesn’t make your groceries any cheaper. This doesn’t make your health care more affordable. This is yet another broken promise by this administration that will hurt communities and working and middle-class families across Wisconsin.

I will always work to help provide fairness, equality, and economic opportunity for all. It means we have to keep working together for a future where those goals are realized.

I will always stand up for you and your economic interests, but it will take real people power to send a message that the American people won't stand for this.
