While Identity students will be learning remotely in the fall, a computer and wifi connection isn't the only supply they need to be successful.

Remote learners --from elementary schoolers to those enrolled in GED and workforce training programs-- will still take notes with pens and paper. They’ll need folders, binders, and backpacks to stay organized and noise-canceling headphones to block out distractions in crowded homes. They'll take science, tech, art, and math classes with calculators, crayons, markers, and glue. Plus, we’ll add a card game and some snacks for a well-deserved break or a basic fitness tracker to encourage physical exercise as a healthy way to relieve stress.

In short, remote learning actually increases the need for supplies at a time when many families are struggling.

Help us help up to 1000 Latino and other historically underserved youth start the school year prepared to learn. We will personally deliver the backpacks to reinforce the first of many personal connections that will help them be successful students.
