The Deep State is out to get the “good guys” to turn on you and me once again.

With FISA Section 702 set to expire in under 75 days without Congressional action, the Deep State is working overtime to twist arms in Congress.

Some representatives floated the idea of permanent renewal – probably because they are beholden to the Deep State or because they want this issue to just go away . . . because they have to squirm every time it comes up for renewal and they have to explain their vote against the Constitution.

And now they are giving you and me a new “idea” . . .

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) said she will pressure Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to attach the SAVE America Act to a reauthorization of FISA.

The SAVE America Act is proposed legislation that aims to require voters to provide proof of citizenship when registering to vote.

Sounds good on the surface. . .

After all, only American citizens should be voting in elections in America.

The Save Act has already passed the House as a stand-alone bill, but the Senate has not taken it up. That’s why Rep. Luna wants to attach it to the “must pass” Section 702 renewal.

But tying this to government spying and Section 702 renewal is a recipe for disaster.

And it’s a big poison pill.

You see, here’s how this is likely to play out . . . with apologies for the D.C. wonkiness:

With Mike Johnson’s approval (Luna said he’s on board with the plan), it’s likely Section 702 renewal will be put forward without the warrant requirement you and I have been promised over and over again.

Your Fourth Amendment right to a warrant will be thrown to the wayside in exchange for passing the Save America Act.

The SAVE America Act has favorable ratings from Democrat and Republican voters across America – over 80% of Republicans and 70% of Democrats support it.

That means many House members on both sides of the aisle will vote for the bill. Even those representatives who have called for 702 reform will cave in order to force the SAVE America Act through.

But then, the bill will go to the Senate where the SAVE America Act will in all likelihood be stripped off, and Section 702 renewal will pass without any changes.

That bill will go back to the House . . . and because it’s “must-pass” legislation with an April expiration date, the House will accept the changes.

That’s how Washington, D.C. works.

And that’s why you and I need to be even louder ([link removed]): we won’t stand for Washington, D.C. business as usual!

Tell your U.S. Representative now: DO NOT attach the SAVE America Act to Section 702 renewal . . . make the reforms to Section 702 so Americans aren’t spied on without a proper warrant!

All this is happening while the country is wrapped up in so many other issues: the Epstein Files, ICE and Minnesota, a Chinese biolab in Las Vegas, and more.

If you and I let Congress quietly let this happen, the Deep State will have another victory.

The Deep State knows their power is about to be whittled down . . . but only if you and I let them get away with it!
