Updates from D.C.

We do not need another massive detention facility in our neighborhood. We have seen exactly what these centers do to our communities, and let me tell you, it isn't peace—it’s fear, chaos, and the loss of lives.

I Voted NO on the DHS Funding Bill

ICE has caused enough hell over the past 378 days since Trump has taken office.

Kristi Noem has been a complete and total failure at her job. Unqualified ICE agents have been killing U.S. citizens and terrorizing our communities.

I could never vote to fund a law enforcement government agency that operates without any real reforms or accountability.

So, yes—I voted HELL NO.

The Republican Party is Full of Hypocrites

Image

My colleagues across the aisle have made it abundantly clear—time and time again—that their "protection" of women is nothing but a talking points. They love to stand up here and preach about protecting women and girls, but when it comes to the Epstein survivors, they go silent. The hypocrisy is loud and it is a clear plan to distract the public. Let me be clear: we must hold everyone accountable for their actions because no one is above the law. Period.

"He is the King of is Distractions and Division"

Donald Trump is tearing down our Black and Brown communities, and he is not just talking about it; he’s building a coalition of the most dangerous, divisive voices to back his actions. From his war on DEI to turning ICE into a weapon of chaos, his agenda is as clear as it is cruel.

I am not falling for the distractions. I see it for what exactly it is, and I will not stand for it. I sat down with MSNBC to speak the truth about what we already know: Trump is unfit to lead this nation.
