John, I’ve been thinking a lot about Nebraska’s beautiful State Motto.
“Equality before the law” isn’t just a phrase that was whimsically chosen to put on our state’s seal. It’s a principle that’s guided legislators and me, my entire career, from the courtroom to the Capitol.
So, when I say I’m ready to push every community in Nebraska forward, you know I don’t plan on leaving anyone out.
That means fighting for our public schools that give every child a real chance to succeed. It means protecting working families, strengthening small businesses, and making sure that both rural and urban communities have the tools they need to thrive.
I believe leadership starts with listening—and with compassion. I’ve always worked to bring people together, solve problems, and make government work better for the people it serves.
