Nothing has enraged MAGA & Trump quite like Bad Bunny’s success.

Last night’s Super Bowl halftime show was historic. It was joyful, unapologetic, and deeply American. A celebration of Latino culture, community, and pride. Music sung almost entirely in Spanish on the biggest stage in the world.

Donald Trump lost his mind.



After recently posting a racist video depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes, Trump took to social media again to rage about Bad Bunny’s performance. His crime, according to Trump, was singing in Spanish.

If Trump and MAGA cannot stand Bad Bunny because he is Latino and speaks Spanish, they are going to absolutely detest me. And I am okay with that. 

For MAGA, there’s a lot to hate about someone like me:

• I am a first-generation Mexican-American who grew up speaking Spanish primarily in my household. I learned English as a second language. I am proud of that. 
• I am an unabashed progressive who believes that everyone in this country deserves a fair shake, no matter what language they speak or where they come from.
• I am a service member who is proud to have served our country in uniform.
• I am not scared of MAGA, Trump, Stephen Miller, or Kristi Noem. 

As a human rights attorney, I helped track down a notorious right-wing murderer who killed Chilean folk singer Victor Jara because he was willing to stand up to a dictator. 

That’s why MAGA is working so hard to stop me from winning this race: I am a walking, talking refutation of their dark worldview.
