This weekend, we announced our plan to deploy mobile investigation units to the massive new mega-warehouses the Department of Homeland Security is buying in secret all across the country. These facilities in Phoenix, Philadelphia, and San Antonio are designed to hold 8,000 people at a time—and the government is counting on the fact that no one is watching.

We are going to be the ones watching.

To fully fund a comprehensive investigation and a local ad campaign for a single location, we estimate it will cost approximately $100,000. That covers the investigation team, legal support, equipment, and an online and cable media blitz to alert the local community.

The good news: Thanks to your support over the weekend, we are halfway there. We have raised roughly $50,000.

The challenge: We need to raise the remaining $50,000 by midnight tonight to secure funding for one deployment.
