At Swing Left, our work is about more than winning a single election. It’s
about investing for both the short and long term, to reduce the
cycle-to-cycle whiplash and build infrastructure that lasts beyond a

at all. Because in order to win big, we need to persuade as many people as
possible to vote for Democrats.

Ground Truth isn’t traditional canvassing. It’s built around a simple
idea: that listening is the first step to persuading.

Using new technology, broader targeting, and better scripts, Ground Truth
volunteers have open-ended, personal conversations with voters. We’re
asking questions, listening carefully, and capturing what people are
actually experiencing in their real, everyday lives. Those insights are
then shared directly with Democratic campaigns and party committees so
they can shape their messaging and outreach strategies well before
Election Day.

This is reimagining voter contact, and it has the potential to help
Democrats win big in 2026, 2028, and beyond. But in order for Ground Truth
to succeed, we’re counting on the entire Swing Left community to get
