I just left an emergency finance meeting here at HQ, and I wanted to reach out to you personally with an update:

Unfortunately, we’re already pacing behind our February goal.

With this being the shortest month of the year and polls showing our race virtually tied, we simply can’t afford this lag in fundraising. It not only puts a dent in our momentum, it hinders our ability to make the key campaign investments we need to win.

So I’m asking folks like you – who understand the stakes of this race and care about flipping Ohio and the Senate – to chip in $5 right now to help us get back on track. Can I count on you?
