Good evening. I hope everyone is having a great week. So, we are 97 days from the election and 78 days until early voting starts in North Carolina. Given the amount of work that we still have to do, that is pretty terrifying; however, it is also pretty exciting because it means that in less than three months we finally have the opportunity to participate in the most important election of our lives.

With that in mind, the Wake County Young Democrats will be hosting weekly phone banks beginning Tuesday, August 11. I know I have discussed the phone banks in previous emails, but as phone banking is one of the few things that we can do in a pandemic, I wanted to mention it again. With that in mind, we will be hosting a training session in lieu of our monthly meeting. The training will be hosted by Frank Sokolowski, Field Director for the Wake County Democrats, and it will be next Tuesday, August 4, at 7pm.
