** Chair's Corner
Happy Monday, Fairfax Dems!
It’s been a full and productive week for Fairfax Democrats. Across Virginia, Democratic leaders are delivering real progress for working families — and advancing new congressional maps. They won’t back down when Republicans try to game the midterms - and neither will we. FCDC is coordinating closely with the Vote YES Campaign: Virginians for Fair Elections campaign [[link removed]] and gearing up for the work ahead to turnout voters.
We bid a grateful farewell to Dominic Thompson on Friday and welcomed Doug Taylor as our new interim director, keeping FCDC steady and strong while we search for our next great FCDC Executive Director candidate [[link removed]] - could that be you or someone you know?
Together, we keep building — and winning.
Onward! And always together.
Debbie Linick
Chair, Fairfax County Democratic Committee

** Walking for Peace, Right Here at Home
This Sunday, a group of Buddhist monks walking across the United States for peace made their way through Fairfax County along the Route 1 corridor. Fairfax Dem activists were there to greet them, offer support, and walk alongside them.
It was a simple but powerful reminder: our work is about more than politics — it’s about community, compassion, and showing up for one another.
