Brian asked me to reach out to our top supporters to give them a look at our campaign’s strategy as we head into August:
We’ve reached a critical point in the election when our campaign really kicks into high gear. We will find out Brian’s opponent on August 18th, and then it is a sprint to November. The most important thing we can do in anticipation of August 18th is prepare to show the clear contrast between Brian’s uplifting and patriotic message and our opponent’s message of vitriol, hatred and destruction.
To do this, we have all facets of our campaign firing on all cylinders:
- Our outreach team is purchasing literature to hand out to voters.
- Our digital team is preparing graphics to help our message reach voters.
- Our advertising team is filming with Brian so we are prepared to buy TV ad time.
- Our grassroots team is organizing to distribute campaign materials across the district.
- Our finance team is urgently working to ensure we have the resources to do all of this.
This deficit would mean we would need to slash nearly a week of online advertising, delay filming of our TV advertisements, substantially cut back our order of campaign literature and more. We simply can’t afford to do any of that at this stage in the campaign.
So, I’m asking for your help. I know times are tough for many, so if you would pledge your support to help just one area of our campaign, I am confident that we can overcome this deficit and get the job done!
