As you may recall from my most recent message to you, Our Children’s Trust celebrated 10 years of leading groundbreaking climate litigation on July 10th. Today, I’m writing to invite you to join us for a special event marking this auspicious occasion!

On August 3rd, at 12pm Pacific / 3pm Eastern, we will gather online to remember, celebrate, and reflect on how it all started in the summer of 2010, the many things we’ve accomplished as a team over the past 10 years, where we stand today with our youth-led climate litigation, and our plans and goals for the future. I’ll be joined in this conversation by Professor Mary Wood, originator of the Atmospheric Trust legal theory and author of “Nature’s Trust: Environmental Law for a New Ecological Age”, and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, a Juliana plaintiff, hip-hop artist, and advisor to Earth Guardians. We’ll also show a few short videos from OCT friends and partners from around the world!
