From Lauren’s first day in Congress, John, she has brought federal resources home to this community, and she just delivered again.
Lauren recently secured over $2.5 Million for local projects that will have a direct impact, supporting food security in the Illinois Valley, rural health care, and the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation in Shabbona.
The projects include:
- Expansion of the Mendota Health Center to better serve over 6,000 people needing accessible, quality primary care services.
- Expansion of refrigeration and storage capacity for the Illinois Valley Food Pantry, allowing them to serve more families in need.
- Construction of governmental office space for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation and their neighbors to provide services to the community.
These investments will have a profound impact on Northern Illinois, making a tangible difference in families' lives and keeping our community healthy and strong.
Achievements like this are thanks to Lauren’s supporters like you, John. Can you chip in to our campaign to ensure Lauren can continue her work in Northern Illinois?
