Friend,

Martin has been fighting hard to lower costs and help New Mexicans put food on the table, focusing on the economic issues and Trump administration policies that are hitting folks the hardest.

Instead of lowering costs on day one — as Trump promised he would do — he made it worse.

Whether it’s housing, health care, or transportation, the one thing Trump delivered for New Mexico families in 2025 was higher prices. It’s hitting families hard — to the tune of $1,355 in inflation costs in 2025. That includes over $162 more in housing costs and over $217 more on transportation costs.

Martin has been focused on affordability in all areas. He recently led a roundtable with his Senate colleagues to talk about how the Trump administration’s energy policies have raised utility costs on working families. He has demanded answers from U.S. Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon on the administration’s proposal to eliminate student loan repayment options for millions of Americans. He’s led efforts against Trump’s tariffs, which are hurting American consumers and small business owners, and in the fight for affordable health care.

And today he wants to know what economic issues are top of mind for you.

Please take a few minutes to let Martin know how the affordability crisis is impacting your family. » [[link removed]]
