Aloha! Voting by mail is a new experience for Hawai'i. My team has been working so hard to get out the vote! Please don't forget to submit your ballot, it's easy! Ballot Tips: By now, you should have received your ballot in the mail. Since it is a primary election ballot you must pick one political party and can only vote for candidates in that party, however, the mayor's race is non-partisan and so you can vote in this race no matter which party is selected. Once your ballot is prepared, place the ballot in the secrecy sleeve and then place that inside the enclosed return envelope. Sign the envelope and seal it. Unsigned envelopes will not be counted. Questions about your Ballot: If you have not received your ballot, made a mistake in filling out the ballot, or have other issues to resolve, you can visit the Voter Service Centers, located at Honolulu Hale, 530 King Street, Honolulu, 96813 and Kapolei Hale, 1000 Uluohia Street, Kapolei, 96707. To contact the County Elections Division by phone, call (808) 768-3800. Go online to confirm your ballot has been received or to view an interactive map of voter places of deposit at www.elections.hawaii.gov. Last Minute Registration and In-Person Voting: Voter Service Centers provide accessible in-person voting, same-day voter registration, and collection of voted ballots. They are open now until Election Day. Voter Service Center dates and hours of operation are July 27, 2020 – August 7, 2020, Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays; and 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Election Day, August 8, 2020, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. To mail in your ballot, it is recommended by the Office of Elections that it should be in the mail five days in advance of Election Day, Aug. 8; which will be Monday, Aug. 3. Ballot Drop Off Boxes: If you prefer not to mail in your ballot, however, there are Drop-Off Boxes throughout Honolulu County. When it is sealed and signed, you can safely deposit your ballot in the big yellow boxes at the following locations: Hawaii Kai Park and Ride 240 Keahole Street Honolulu, HI 96825 Kaneohe District Park 45-660 Keaahala Road Kaneohe, HI 96744 Kahuku District Park 56-170 Pualalea Street Kahuku, HI 96731 Mililani Park and Ride 95-1101 Ukuwai Street Mililani, HI 96789 Neal S.
