Pramila didn’t mince words when calling out the discrepancy in how Bill Barr reacted to recent protests. When right-wing supremacists stormed the Michigan statehouse with guns and threatened the life of Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Barr didn’t bat an eyelash. Yet when peaceful protesters powerfully showed up to speak out against the persistent killing of Black people and cried out for racial justice, Barr ordered federal officers to unleash tear gas and pepper spray — injuring many and violating each of their First Amendment rights.

Pramila expertly called out how Barr ignores white protesters who seek to carry out the president’s agenda — but orders attacks against Black Lives Matter organizers who are actively protesting against the president’s racist agenda. It’s abundantly clear that Barr sees himself as the president’s personal lawyer — and Pramila will never stop working to hold him and other corrupt administration officials accountable as they continue to be more loyal to the president than the people.
