John,

Malnutrition isn't just hunger.

It's a life-threatening condition that can permanently impair a child's development and increase their risk of infection and disease. It can lead to a child losing their life.

Right now in Yemen malnutrition rates are skyrocketing, at a time when COVID-19 is ripping through the country. It's heartbreaking โ€” and time is running out.

John, war-torn Yemen was expected to face the largest food crisis in the world in 2020 even before COVID-19. The pandemic arrived after five years of conflict โ€” which already made access to food, clean water, and medicine insufficient and unpredictable for most Yemeni families.

But despite COVID-19, and thanks to supporters like you, the IRC has maintained our lifesaving health and nutrition programs โ€” in Yemen and other crisis zones worldwide.

We provide treatment for malnourished children, reproductive health care for pregnant and lactating women, and cash transfers and food vouchers for families most in need, wherever the need is greatest.

We're continuing to bring treatment for acute malnutrition straight to children in their homes and communities, adapting our programs to safely provide ongoing care during the coronavirus crisis in Yemen and many other crisis zones around the world too.

By tripling your gift today, you can help us immediately scale up our work and deliver 3X the lifesaving aid to vulnerable families in Yemen and wherever the need is greatest. Please help ยป

We are so grateful to have your compassion and support at this critical time.
