At the beginning of each month we set specific fundraising goals to reach in order to support our candidates, pay our staff, run digital ads, organize volunteers, and more. This month, we aimed to raise $170,000.

But after looking over the numbers these last few days, it’s become clear that we’re not going to reach that $170,000 number. We want to keep you fully informed of what’s going on so today we’re sharing that we’re officially lowering our July fundraising goal to $164,409.

$164,409 is the exact amount we have to raise this month — it’s critical that we reach this new lowered goal in order to keep our movement going strong.

We need to raise $12,409 before midnight on the 31st in order to reach this goal. If you can afford it, will you contribute $3 to help us reach this new goal? We wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.

Our movement is rooted in working-class people contributing what they can afford because they believe in electing transformative leaders like AOC and Jamaal Bowman. We don’t take a dime from corporate PACs and we don’t have any billionaire donors to fall back on.
