Dear John,
Rep. Ilhan Omar and Other Muslim American Elected Officials Endorse Biden For President in Emgage PAC Letter
In a letter spearheaded by Emgage PAC, Representatives Ilhan Omar, Andre Carson, and numerous other Muslim American officials endorse Joe Biden for President. This letter and their endorsements come shortly after Vice President Biden's presence at Emgage Action's Million Muslim Votes Summit. During this summit he addressed Muslim American communities and stated his commitment to earn their vote during this 2020 election.
"It is powerful for so many Muslim American elected officials to come together and endorse Joe Biden. His address at our Million Muslim Votes Summit reified his commitment to including our voices to cultivate a more equitable, just America. We hope that Emgage PAC's endorsement of Biden for President, in addition to the endorsement by top Muslim American elected officials, incentivizes Muslim American communities to vote for Biden in November. Joe Biden has the experience, values, and leadership qualities to unite our country and bring solutions to our greatest challenges. We are signing this letter to set a new course for our country and committing to organizing our communities to elect Joe Biden. With Joe Biden, we will have a seat at the table and will address and heal the deep wounds that fracture our country." -Wa'el Alzayat, CEO of Emgage PAC
