I'm excited at what we've accomplished in our campaign to win FL-59. We've built our campaign with friends and neighbors, and an average online contribution of $40.04. But I know what I'm about to face in just a few short weeks.

While my Republican opponents are battling each other out in a primary to become the Republican nominee, I've been focused on speaking directly to voters in this district who will be voting in the November election.

The problem is that Republicans want this seat. BADLY. The Tampa Bay Times just reported that "Republicans want it back...which means the heavily funded Republican leadership PACs and corporate interests will likely boost the GOP nominee."

Knowing that corporate interests want to try to prevent me from representing my community in Tallahassee just makes me want to work even harder to win this race. But I can't reach every voter unless we have enough money in the bank to fight back on their incoming attacks. Please rush a contribution to our campaign today.
