Dear John, As we strive to advance racial justice, end homelessness, and recover from COVID-19, NPH wanted to highlight the growth and continued success of our Bay Area Housing Internship Program (BAHIP) program with the graduation of our Year 2 cohort! Hear interns’ reflections while experiencing highlights from the celebration: |
|
BAHIP is a one-year, paid internship program designed to launch college students from low-income communities and communities of color into careers in affordable housing development and project management — by training them in the hard and soft skills of housing leadership development at leading NPH member agencies. So far we’ve placed over half of our graduates in full-time permanent positions at leading housing agencies. In our newly-enriched BAHIP webpages, prospective host agencies and future interns can experience the full breadth and depth of interns’ work in our new portfolios page, and witness the diversity of networks that support them. |

We’ll be announcing our new year 3 cohort very soon, so stay tuned for details around the corner! |
