Affordable Care Act insurance signups are down by hundreds of thousands compared to last year, and counting. Why? Because the monthly premiums are skyrocketing.

Americans all over our country are hoping they don’t have any health issues this year, because they can’t afford the bill.

Healthcare access is a fundamental right—not a luxury. No family should have to choose between groceries for the week and going to the doctor.

I have pushed for an extension on the ACA enhanced premium tax credits since day one–and this month, the House finally passed a bill to give families another three years of relief. If the Senate follows, millions of Americans won’t have to choose between their dreams, their basic needs, and their health. That’s what real leadership looks like.
