Right now, Illinois is seeing exactly what this race is about. I wrapped up my first debate and made something crystal clear.
Unlike my opponents:
I am not the candidate who is going to thank ICE after they attack Chicago and our immigrant communities.
I am not the candidate who will stand by in Congress and let Donald Trump wage war on working families while he rakes in record profits.

Who I am is the candidate who will fight to abolish ICE and defend our immigrant neighbors.
Who will fight for Medicare for All — and against Republicans’ cruel cuts to health care.
Who will fight to make life more affordable, tax corporations, and raise the minimum wage to $25 an hour.
I am the candidate who will always go to the mat to fight for YOU. Who will fight for the people of Illinois — not corporate special interests.
