What Trump and this administration are doing with ICE is deeply troubling.  They have terrorized communities, are openly racially profiling Americans, and infringing upon people's right to protest and assemble. 

It's unconstitutional, and let me be clear, we will not stand for it here in Rhode Island. 

I have spoken to my Democratic colleagues across the country who have been targeted by this weaponized force, and made sure that we are prepared to protect all Rhode Islanders from the heinous and racist acts of ICE. 

As Governor, I will always stand with Rhode Islander’s to protect their civil rights.
