I liken my campaign to a bonsai tree: we have everything the other campaigns have, but we have material limitations that have kept it from growing any bigger.
We’re at a point where all of us need to decide: will a moral economy, addressing the humanitarian disaster of millions of traumatized children, reparations for slavery and reparative measures toward Native Americans, and waging peace be political realities we create in our time? Will a deeper conversation about the actual cause of our problems be just that—a mere conversation—or a conversation that sparks real change?

My economic and environmental plans are very similar to other left-wing progressive Democrats. But I also bring the most important plan of all: how to defeat Donald Trump.
President Trump is not a conventional politician and I don’t believe he will be defeated by one. He will be defeated by someone with a deeper understanding of what it takes to arouse the energy and inspiration to counter him.
Last Thursday, we set a goal to raise $500,000 by today—August 28th—for digital and television advertising in key markets.
