My $1 Million Commitment to Growing Club America Across Texas

I was proud to present a $1 million campaign check to Turning Point USA at their Phoenix headquarters on Monday to help advance the goal of placing a Club America chapter on every high school campus in Texas.
I made this contribution because of my friendship with Charlie. He gave his life for what he believed in, and making this gift in his memory is the least I can do to honor him.
I urge GOP officeholders across America to donate campaign funds to support Club America chapters in Texas and across the country.
Honoring Charlie’s Legacy with Erika Kirk

That same day, I had a long visit with Erika Kirk. We spoke about how people of faith and conservatives can win the battle of ideas on high school and college campuses in Texas and across America. We shared many memories of Charlie and discussed how we can best honor his legacy.
Mrs. Kirk is a Christ-centered, down-to-earth, and courageous person, and I will continue to support her, her family, and Turning Point USA in every way possible while uplifting them in prayer.
Keeping Texas Red: A Conversation on Values & Legacy

I then joined The Charlie Kirk Show in the studio with Andrew Kolvet and Blake Neff.
We discussed a range of topics, including fond memories of Charlie and how we can keep Texas red. Click here to watch the interview.

An Honor to Keynote the Van Zandt Lincoln Reagan Dinner

I had the honor of speaking with Senator Bob Hall, R-Edgewood (SD 2), last night at the Van Zandt County Lincoln Reagan Day Dinner. It was a great turnout. If you are wondering about my outfit, it’s John Wayne’s coat from Flame of the Barbary Coast and his vest from Tall in the Saddle and scenes in Rio Bravo. I like to take them to events and let the Duke’s fans put them on. They love it. I always find a friend in the crowd to put on the coat that is much too big for them. They are good sports, and it’s a lot of fun.

The photo above is with Van Zandt County Judge Andy Reese. I loved his Rush Limbaugh tie. My radio station was the first big city radio station to put Rush on the air in 1988. He built talk radio, which built the foundation of the conservative movement we still have today. He was a great friend and a great human being. He is missed.
A Special Night in Bryan with Senator Schwertner

I joined Senator Charles Schwertner, R-Georgetown (SD 5), in Bryan on Wednesday night for a special campaign event, where I was honored to speak.
Protecting Faith. Fighting Hate.
Tune in Monday, February 9 at 7:30 a.m. CT for the fifth hearing of the Religious Liberty Commission

On Monday, I’ll be in Washington, D.C. for the fifth hearing of President Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission, which I’m honored to chair.
Join us live at 7:30 a.m. CT as we discuss the alarming rise of antisemitism in our nation. Watch at justice.gov/live.

Sincerely,

Dan Patrick
Lieutenant Governor of Texas
