It’s a very special day today: it’s my husband John’s birthday! I’m so proud of John and all the work he does for Colorado families like ours every single day. I remember standing on stage together the night we flipped Colorado’s Senate seat blue in 2020. Since then, he’s worked hard to deliver real change for working people — passing legislation to lower prescription drug prices, fight climate change, and investing billions in Colorado projects to create good-paying jobs and build affordable housing. Because it’s his birthday, I want to show him that so many people here in Colorado and around the country are grateful to have him on our side — just like I am.
