Justice Democrats has been saying it from the very beginning: Abolish ICE.

In the 2018 election cycle, JD was one of the first groups to call for the end of this unnecessary, violent agency, and one of the first to offer candidates to wear that demand proudly.

Now, as ICE continues to terrorize our communities, violate our Constitutional rights, and murder our neighbors, our demand remains the same, and public opinion is on our side. A recent poll by The Economist and YouGov found that the majority of people support abolishing ICE.

Despite this, Democratic leaders like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are utterly failing to meet the moment. Instead of supporting abolishment and doing everything in their power to rein in this rogue secret police force, they’re tiptoeing around the issue and offering weak “reforms” that won’t end ICE’s terror.
