This package is not about Netanyahu, but about supporting one of our greatest allies in the region and the next step to ensuring peace and global security.
I don't need polling to fight for voting rights.
Our votes are under attack in Georgia where Trump is trying to seize voting records. The Voting Rights Act may soon be weakened again by the Supreme Court. The fight never ends, and we have been here before. We know how necessary it is that we protect our right to vote in free and fair elections.
I don't need polling to see that ICE agents are terrorizing our streets.
ICE agents are breaking into homes without warrants. They are harming, arresting, and even killing unarmed citizens. ICE agents should not be empowered to break the law and they must obey the Constitution.
I don't need polling to stand against terrorist regimes.
Iran quietly slaughtered thousands of its own citizens for standing up to tyranny after shutting down the internet. Russia continues to attack the sovereign nation of Ukraine by murdering civilians, kidnapping children, and attacking power plants during the cold winter months. We cannot allow these regimes to invade other countries or fund terrorism anymore.
If you send me to Congress, I will stay engaged on these critical issues, no matter how harsh the political winds blow, because that is who I am.
